Juggling Too Much

I feel a bit overwhelmed as of late. We are working on putting the house up for sale, we just passed into mid-terms at school and I’ve been moving web hosts. In hindsight, I should have put off the web host move for a few months, although I do not regret moving my sites. I have been moving them one by one from Dreamhost to SiteGround. I am totally ecstatic by the performance boost that SiteGround offers.

In the midst of all this, I have to start studying for my CISSP somewhere in there. I am facing down the barrel of a 1600 page book of content that is not super exciting to read. I agreed to do a book review for an author and that was an instance where I should have said “no”.

It is tempting to stop blogging, but it continues to be therapeutic and educational. Since I have been writing just about every day, it has become a habit. It doesn’t take me more than 15-20 minutes to put something out and it helps me to get my thoughts organized. I am blessed for the opportunity to be surrounded by some great folks over at the Desk community as we continue to encourage each other everyday.

It is about time for me to reevaluate my priorities and start saying “no” and letting go.

  1. Sometimes saying no is the hardest thing to say, but the most necessary.

Step back and catch your breath, even for a day.
